CWD hosted a smaller group than usual which allowed us to dive deeply into trust and the meaning of CWD for each of us. We had a new member and she delightfully just slipped into the group as though she had been present at every meeting!
Tony Annesley facilitated (and participated in!) a trust exercise in which partnered up CWD-ers gently (and sometimes not so gently!) guided their partner around the space with eyes closed.
Jayne Evans and Christine Doan came up with a practice to trial for the second session. It was also a partner exercise. Jayne was the facilitator (and a participant). After inducting us into a calm and centred space, Jayne led each dyad to intuitively finish sentence stems. What’s a sentence stem?
Well, this is one: I see the earth as….
Here’s another: I am….
Or even more brief and with less direction given: I….
Our 3 questions built on each other and encouraged each to feel into what Connection With Direction means to them and how each would like CWD to evolve.
The September 15 meeting already has a bit of an agenda worked out which looks like this :
Two businesses are keen to pitch their businesses and come clean about their growing pains!
Derek and Doug will be presenters.
Who wants to work with Christine to find a way of turning their presentations into active listening exercises?
Jayne? Keen to invent another practice?
